I enjoyed this book and experienced immediate results in the way I thought about other people’s behavior, and my own reactions to certain situations. It helped me understand why people do what they do, and why I do what I do. I am on a quest to improve the way I think, feel and speak about others and myself. I realize now that it all matters- the good and the bad. While these concepts will likely be esoteric for some people, I felt ready for the lessons. I am not religious, and occasionally the references to God felt uncomfortable, but it’s nothing a secure person can’t handle. I consider myself agnostic with buddhist tendencies. Here’s an example of how this book impacted me: I had an encounter the other day with a guy who threw what can only be described as an adult tantrum. This person did not know me. The situation happened while out on a trail walking in the woods in the snow with two of my friends. The angry guy was upset that we were ruining the trails by leaving behind footprints (small holes). He was aggressive, and decided to physically block the trail so we couldn’t pass. At first I thought he was joking, but he continued with the verbal abuse. My default setting is to fight. To be aggressive and verbally abusive. In this instance, I was able to neutralize the hostility and maintain control of my temper. I stayed calm, apologized, and explained we had no intention of ruining the trail. He calmed down almost immediately, perhaps realizing how irrational his outburst was, and we went our separate ways.Had I not been reading this book, my reaction undoubtedly would have been confrontational and it may have resulted in a physical altercation. Historically, I’ve been quick to judge others and react with rage, especially when I feel victimized. It felt incredible to take ownership of my emotions and maintain control in a situation that could have easily spiraled into something ugly.If you’re ready for the lessons, and you apply what you learn, this book will change your life.

Clearly explained, this book reveals our spiritual evolution. We discover the value in all things and the beauty in what is. We get to revel in the unfolding magnificence of life. While reading this book, I received the Divine awareness to look at everything that happens or that I notice and think, “This is love.” Continually remembering that everything is love and that it forms from inside me first, fills and nourishes me, and then overflows with Divine grace to benefit others, helps me stay in alignment with spiritual expansion.

This book is older, a bit outdated in the societal realm. The content is Infinite. NOT for a newbie of self-help, spirituality, and psychology; get some experience in first with simple self-care, understanding, and love. At times you’ll have to put it down in order to disgest and integrate the material. High level language is used, be sure to look up and write down the meanings of each new word for best comprehension. Love

It is a good book reinforcing his teachings. Many of the examples were the same from Letting Go which is the only other Hawkins book I’ve read thus far.I was thrust into awakening via a twin flame experience and have experienced many core lessons over and over again such as acceptance, trust, letting go/surrender, release desire/expectations, all is as it should be, and the divine takes care of everything – one must merely align with higher self. The divine has me constantly working on these lessons and I know it is my work/journey to do so the rest of this lifetime.Within this book (pg 241) there is reference that we can not predict the future – all is within our control and if such was so our lives would have no value (a linear intellectual conclusion – oddly placed as well). Yet pg 40, it speaks to the database of consciousness which “transcends time, space, and all limitations of individual consciousness.” Anyone can tap in, ‘ask’ and then ‘know’. He goes further into Jung & synchronicities, intuition, and premonition. This is a rather large discrepancy as it is enforcing exact opposite points. On my journey, I have been shown the latter by the divine in various ways so the past and future are determined with the ego interpreting the illusion of control. The universe doesn’t make mistakes – all is as how it should be. Learn your karmic lessons to grow. Consciousness is rising and it is exciting to be a small part of this shift. Hawkins did his mission work and its lasting mark continues to ripple through humanity. If you’re a Hawkins fan, spiritually awakening, or want to be a better human, you will find value in this book.

The world makes a lot more sense when you understand the levels of consciousness that this book maps out. It’s not so much a how-to as much as it is a “this is how it is.” I found it fascinating and informative.

For those of us who are seekers I’ve found this is probably the most modern, strait-forward explanation of how to evolve during our human soul experience.

Sencillo y entendible, sin rebuscamientos ni frases densas. A veces el contenido te lleva a encontrar la verdad que está dentro de ti. Gracias David donde quiera que estés.
