This is my very 1st set of tuning forks. Although I was afraid of a harsh sound at 1st strike, I was pleasantly surprised when there was a pleasant sound after striking the activator included in the set. The tuning forks sound similar to that on the video from Gongs Unlimited as demonstrated here on Amazon. I have only used tuning forks once & look forward to working with my set.Frequency + Intent = Healing. Louder is not better. There is much power in quiet sound. The tuning forks make a low beautiful sound that is soothing & relaxing.A little booklet is included telling a brief history of the invention & uses of the tuning forks. Brief instructions are also given. There is also a video on youtube where Mr. Goldman demonstrates how to use tuning forks on yourself. It is actually very easy to learn & to use non weighted tuning forks.The forks are well made & come in a beautiful blue & yellow velvet pouch. A mesh bag is also included for booklet, tuning forks & activator( a hockey puck).Gongs unlimited took care to package the tuning forks in a card board box with bubble wrap & packing paper. Tuning forks were mailed promptly & arrived in perfect condition sooner than projected.. The seller was the reason why I ordered this set. I am happy with my purchase.
